Due to a recent discernment that we will be focusing on evangelization for the youth for 2019, we are constantly on the road but  we can build by order only.    Thus, we ask that you call us at (803) 526-8632 if you want us to build this beautiful sacramental  asap.

Miraculous Mary’s Cross with Two Hearts, 12 inch, purple heart

This Crucifix is  our Lady calling us to a special mission.

The Blessed Mother appeared to St. Catherine Laboure for the first time on July 18, 1830, she  said to her, “God wishes to charge you with a mission.”

The circle around the cross represents the rays rotating around the world  just as St. Catherine saw in  her vision, which symbolizes  the graces that our Blessed Mother obtains on our behalf for those who asks.

“O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.”

The Meaning of the Miraculous Medal

The front shows our Blessed Mother standing upon a globe stepping on the serpent, letting us know that the evil one is powerless with her protection.

The back medal shows 12 stars depicting the 12 apostles, symbolizing that the whole Church is around the Blessed Mother.   The Cross represents our salvation and the  “M” represents Mary , united to follow the will of God.  It also signifies the Blessed Virgin at the foot of the Cross when Jesus was being crucified.  The intersection of both of their love to the Church and the world is depicted by the two hearts.

In 1836, countless miracles showered on the faithful who had faith on this sacramental such as  recovery from illness, prosperity, and prayers answered.  The Church   found  these miracles to be genuine.   For just the period 1930-1950, there were about 750,000 favors attributed to this devotion.

Background of the Making of the Cross

6miraculous-mary-crucifix-12-inch-front.png

The Miraculous Mary's  Crucifix  was commissioned  to us by a special soul, an avid and faithful member of the Cross of St. Benedict society.   Through the graces of God, this member is a silent hero, opening himself to inspirations on how to help us  reach various sectors of our Church so that the Cross will have a profound meaning  in an individual’s state of life. It is his hope that the beauty of the cross and its power be appreciated by the Church faithful.

He wrote us to make him  a Crucifix that will honor the Blessed Mother.  We agreed easily to this request for  the death of Christ and the victory were won with Mary on His side.  Just as our Lord went through  His Calvary, the Blessed Mother’s love for us enabled her to unite her suffering and loss to the Great Sacrifice.   This reveals an important inspiration – that innumerable graces will come out from Mary as she intercedes on our behalf to  her Son.   We just have to ask our Lady and allow her to be our mother too.

We will be showing our love to Jesus by loving His mother, whom He honored in His lifetime.  Thus, it is  unthinkable that Jesus will not grant His Mother a channel of extraordinary graces that is exclusive to her intercession.

The Miraculous medal was requested by the Blessed Mother herself.  And, now the Miraculous medal is behind Jesus on the Cross, what a great manifestation of Mary’s role in our salvation.

After 57 years of the death of St. Catherine of Laboure, her body was exhumed and found it intact, supple and incorrupt.  Her eyes were  still color blue.   St. Catherine is the patron of architects,  miners and prisoners.  We think she will be a great intercessors for those in spiritual bondages and imprisoned by the devil.

When you have the Miraculous Medal  in your cross, you are articulating that you honor her Immaculate Conception and know her strength against satan, the enemy and deceiver.

Novena of the Miraculous Medal (Source:EWTN)

O Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus and our Mother, penetrated with the most lively confidence in your all-powerful and never-failing intercession, manifested so often through the Miraculous Medal, we your loving and trustful children implore you to obtain for us the graces and favors we ask during this novena, if they be beneficial to our immortal souls, and the souls for whom we pray.

(Here form your petition)

You know, O Mary, how often our souls have been the sanctuaries of your Son who hates iniquity. Obtain for us then a deep hatred of sin and that purity of heart which will attach us to God alone so that our every thought, word and deed may tend to His greater glory. Obtain for us also a spirit of prayer and self-denial that we may recover by penance what we have lost by sin and at length attain to that blessed abode where you are the Queen of angels and of men.

Amen.

    Beautiful Miraculous Medal Crucifix

Posted by brad schueneman on 14th Feb 2016

The purple heart wood is amazing. It seems to glow when the sunlight shines on it. Miraculous Medal Crucifixes are pretty rare and I think this is the best one. A beautiful piece.
